About SWG1610
SWG1610 extends the SWG1608 platform with two 1000Base-X SFP fiber uplinks — perfect for long-haul backhaul between buildings, harsh EMI zones, or where galvanic isolation is required. The 8 PoE+ downlinks power your edge devices while the SFP ports carry aggregated traffic upstream over single-mode or multi-mode fiber.
Like SWG1608, configuration is fully DIP-switch driven: port isolation, 250m long-distance mode (ports 1-4), QoS, and PoE watchdog — all without a management interface to maintain. This makes SWG1610 ideal for OEM integrators shipping turnkey systems where reducing customer-side complexity matters.
The IP40 fan-less aluminum housing operates -20°C to +60°C with redundant DC power inputs. SFP modules sold separately let you pick exactly the fiber type and reach you need.
