About BGS208
BGS208 brings full Gigabit Ethernet speed to industrial floors at a price-point comparable to office-grade switches — but with the EMC ruggedness factories demand. Each of the 8 RJ45 ports auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps and supports Auto MDI/MDI-X for hassle-free cabling.
Built into an IP30 SPCC steel housing with DIN rail mounting, BGS208 operates from -20°C to +70°C and accepts a wide 9-52.8 VDC power range — ideal for cabinets where 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 48 VDC rails are common. Reverse polarity protection prevents wiring mistakes from damaging the switch.
Plug-and-play deployment requires no configuration. For applications needing managed features or PoE, see the SWG1608 / SWG1610 series.
